Africa Commerce and Investment Summit (ACIS) 2026
By registering for the Africa Commerce and Investment Summit (ACIS) 2026, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms and conditions.
Registration
Your registration is subject to review and confirmation by the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI).
Where applicable, paid registrations will only be considered confirmed after full payment has been received.
KNCCI reserves the right to decline, cancel, or revoke any registration where false information has been provided or where the registration does not meet the event requirements.
Event Communications
By registering for ACIS 2026, you consent to receive communications from KNCCI relating to the event. These communications may include:
- Registration confirmations
- Payment information
- Event schedules
- Speaker announcements
- Venue updates
- Security information
- Networking opportunities
- Exhibition information
- Surveys and feedback requests
- Important notices before, during, and after the event
Communications may be sent through email, SMS, telephone calls, WhatsApp, or any other official communication channel used by KNCCI.
Photography and Video Recording
ACIS 2026 is an official public event where photography, video recording, live streaming, and other forms of media capture will take place.
By attending the event, you grant KNCCI, its partners, sponsors, media partners, and authorized representatives the unrestricted right to photograph, record, livestream, and capture your image, voice, likeness, and participation during the event.
You further agree that:
- Your photographs, videos, audio recordings, and other media captured during the event may be used by KNCCI for promotional, educational, archival, public relations, marketing, advertising, reporting, social media, websites, publications, and other lawful business purposes.
- Such media may be edited, reproduced, published, distributed, displayed, broadcast, or otherwise used without further notice, approval, or compensation.
- All photographs, recordings, videos, and related media created during the event shall remain the exclusive property of the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI).
Data Privacy
KNCCI respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.
By registering, you consent to KNCCI collecting, storing, processing, and using the information you provide solely for purposes connected with ACIS 2026 and related KNCCI initiatives.
Your personal information may be used for:
- Managing your event registration
- Issuing event badges or QR codes
- Event access and security verification
- Providing event updates
- Networking and business matching where applicable
- Responding to enquiries
- Improving future events
- Producing event reports and analytics
KNCCI will implement reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or misuse.
Personal information will only be shared with authorized event service providers, sponsors, exhibitors, government agencies, security personnel, payment providers, or technology partners where necessary for the successful delivery of the event or where required by law.
KNCCI will not sell your personal information to third parties.
Compliance with the Kenya Data Protection Act
KNCCI processes personal data in accordance with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019 and any other applicable data protection laws.
You have the right to:
- Access your personal information
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion where legally permissible
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, provided such withdrawal does not affect legal obligations or the administration of the event
Requests relating to personal data may be submitted to KNCCI through its official contact channels.
Event Changes
KNCCI reserves the right to:
- Modify the programme
- Change speakers
- Change session times
- Change the venue if necessary
- Reschedule the event
- Cancel the event due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control
Where significant changes occur, registered participants will be notified using the contact details provided during registration.
Code of Conduct
Participants are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully throughout the event.
KNCCI reserves the right to remove any attendee whose conduct is considered disruptive, abusive, discriminatory, unlawful, or likely to compromise the safety or enjoyment of other participants.
Limitation of Liability
KNCCI shall not be liable for any personal injury, loss, theft, damage to personal property, travel costs, accommodation costs, or other expenses incurred as a result of attending the event, except where such liability cannot legally be excluded.
Participants attend the event at their own risk.
Intellectual Property
All event materials, presentations, branding, publications, logos, recordings, and digital content remain the intellectual property of KNCCI or their respective owners.
No recordings, reproductions, or commercial use of event materials may be made without prior written permission.
Acceptance
By submitting your registration, you confirm that:
- You have read and understood these Terms and Conditions.
- You consent to receiving communications relating to ACIS 2026.
- You consent to the collection and processing of your personal information for purposes connected with the event.
- You acknowledge and agree that photographs, videos, and recordings taken during the event may be used by KNCCI without compensation and shall remain the property of KNCCI.
- You agree to comply with all event policies, rules, and applicable laws.
