Dr. Pathiraja currently serves as a Director of HDFC Bank, a position he has held since 2022. In March 2025, he was appointed Chairman of the Board Human Resource & Remuneration Committee (BHRRC), as publicly disclosed through the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE).
